About Us
Tibooburra's Angus herd was established in 1968 by then stud principal, Vivienne Kerr, whose dream was to breed Angus cattle in natural bush and park-like settings. The herd was originally built upon elite bloodlines from New Zealand and America. Over the next 35 years Tibooburra Angus became one of the most well recognised Angus Studs in Australia. It was well renowned for producing quality big framed cattle. With her dedication and commitment to Australian Angus, Vivienne earned a life Membership to Angus Australia.
In 2008 Vivienne's son, Peter, took over as Farm Principal. With the aim of rejuvenating Tibooburra to its former glory Peter and son Matthew have since rebuilt an 800-strong herd compromising of high quality stud and commercial Angus.
